Astro was  a Dalmatian that I purchased  after my husband passed on. I bought him because I felt I needed a big dog for protection. Astro started me on the road to professional trainer. I had trained him like I had trained all my small dogs. I ended up with a nightmare. It was either him or me. I found out right then and there that all dogs are different and to train them , each one must be considered as an individual. I took him to Obedience School and started on the road to my career. In the end Astro became a wonderful dog. He achieved titles in the AKC, UKC and in the CKC(Canada). He also did 2 movies, (and got to meet Richard Dean Anderson, Edie Falco and Burt Young), print ads for Ethan Allen and the top selling Xmas Card for Avanti. Astro died of Brain Cancer in 1999. RIP my friend.

CRICKET

Cricket was my first Yorkie in Obedience. She loved to work with me at classes and in the ring at shows. She was a show stopper and people would flock from all around the show to see her work. She also did brace classes with Digit and McIn always receiving a placement. She had a HIT (High In Trial) at the Yorkshire Terrier Specialty in NYC in 1997.  She titled in AKC, UKC and the CKC (Canada). Cricket did a children’s book and also a greeting card. She was so smart and so special, She died in 2007 at the age of 14. Run free my baby.
